North Carolina-based producer and friend of the blog, Joneses just dropped his first original mix called “Cough Syrup.” Despite how overplayed trap is getting, Joneses puts a new spin on the genre with the track. Mostly using a manipulated vocal sample and synth-bass, Joneses creates a catchy melody to go with more traditional trap drum production.
