Producer/DJ Josh One just released his new single, “This Far.” Mixing boom bap drums with clicking electric guitar, muted trumpet and DJ scratching, the track bridges the gap between hip hop, post-punk and jazz. Listening to the instrumental, you could as easily hear someone rapping over it as you could hear it in the closing credits of a film noir.
