At 19 years old, Julian Lamadrid has already accomplished what many twice his age have not. With two successful EPs under his belt, he is preparing to release his third EP, Nineteen on June 30th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere his new track “The Answer.”
“It’s good to be bad/it’s fun to be dumb” Lamadrid sings over the straight four-on-the-floor beat and lush synths. The track sounds like the 1975 but with Lamadrid channelling Asher Roth with his version of sing rapping. Take Lamdrid’s advice and “just feel the rhythm of this song.”
