With controversy swirling around Kanye‘s recent erratic behavior, many fans and friends have been distancing themselves from him. Production duo, Two Friends go the opposite direction and embrace him, albeit from a happier time. They remix West’s classic “Touch the Sky” into a synth-pop track. Maybe most interesting about it is that Two Friends don’t actually change the post-chorus melody. They play the Earth, Wind, and Fire-sampled horn line with brass synth sound. It make the track feel less like a remix and more like updating the sound for a more EDM friendly crowd.
