Beau, in French, is the masculine form of the adjective to mean pleasing to the eye or handsome. Therefore, it is ironic that DJ Beau is a woman. There is nothing ironic, however, about her remix of Kelly Clarkson‘s “Dark Side.” The remix gives Kelly Clarkson’s track a deep house makeover similar to how Todd Terry remixed Everything But the Girl‘s “Missing” in the 90s.
