The Kerosene Hours “Shimmy Shimmy Void”

With pumpkin spice lattes back on the menu and abandoned store fronts becoming Halloween stores, it is beginning to look a lot like spooky season. Los Angeles’ The Kerosene Hours has decided to bless us with the zombie dance track, “Shimmy Shimmy Void.” The song is more about the mindlessness of sitting through pointless work meetings but using the undead as a metaphor. Aaron Silverstein, the man behind The Kerosene Hours, calls the track “just another beautiful dance between the least amount of effort required to make you feel valuable and the sadness that comes with knowing you’re dead weight.” Now that is a void worth staring into.
