Canadian producer, Khanvict is attempting something similar to what Panjabi MC did in the late 90s: merge Punjabi music with EDM. “Searching For You” takes a deep house beat and lays over it ektara and tumbi as well as some chopped up vocal samples. While it may not be the next “Mundian To Bach Ke,” it doesn’t have to be. Khanvict is forging his own approach merging the two cultures.
