Brooklyn duo, Komanda just released their new single, “No Longer Blue.” The track mixes an acoustic guitar backbone with effervescent electronic production reminiscent of artists like Empire of the Sun or Capital Cities. Even though the song has a poppy summer vibe, the band explains that there is a darker meaning to the track: “it’s covertly about relapsing and dealing with addiction to cocaine and alcohol in my mid 20’s, my insecurities while hiding this part of myself from the world.”
