Singer, Jodi Valentin teams up with fellow Philadelphians Little L3GENDS for a cover of Semisonic‘s “Closing Time.” The track flips the 1998 alt-rock classic into a bouncy EDM track. Vocally Valentin makes it her own by adding little flourishes here and there but it largely stays true to the original. The big difference is in structure where there is extensive post-chorus production and the guitar solo is replaced by a long build up and effervescent drop into one final chorus.
