Jacksonville, FL rappers LrkChronicle and Mr Al Pete team up for the new EP, Simple As That. The concept of the EP is to have an old school mixtape feel and the first single “Don’t Play Wit It” has just that. Each rapper spits a verse over the Logic produced beat while the other makes little sounds of amazement at particularly pointed lines. Mr Al Pete raps “I love my dough and my cheese like Papa Johns” which LrkChronicle adds “Goddamn” after. It’s a fun and playful introduction to the EP.
