Stockholm-based singer/songwriter, Luminous Kid is preparing to release his new album, at the end of the dream on April 23rd. The latest single from the album is “Mountain Crystals.” The track is billed as featuring Phoebe Bridgers which is a bit of a misnomer; she appears in a spoken word portion near the end of the song but otherwise, the track is all Luminous Kid. And that’s not a bad thing. “Mountain Crystals” mixes elements of indie folk, psychedelic, and chamber pop. With acoustic guitar being the main instrument, additions of a hand-clapped beat, light horns, and droning organs give the track its kaleidoscopic sound.
