LGBTQ+ pop duo, Maple St. just dropped their new single, “Love Me Less?” The mix of running synth bass and funky guitar noodling under the soaring vocals reminds me of artists like Haim or Tegan and Sara. But despite the fun exterior, there is a lot of strife in the lyrics. Maple St. explains “‘Love Me Less?’ is about the moment in a relationship when the honeymoon goggles fade and you’re forced to face the real versions of each other; usually, the time when you find yourself asking questions like, ‘do you love me a little bit less than when we first met?'”
