Los Angeles duo, Marney are preparing to release their debut EP, Feelings later this year. The album’s lead single is “Conversations.” With a foot stomping beat and fuzzed out bass, lead singer, Crystal Douesnard’s voice soars over the arena-rock production. “‘Conversations’ is a song that we wrote about the struggle that can sometimes come with our inner voices and anxieties,” said Douesnard. “It’s really easy to get swept up into societal expectations and how you want others to perceive you. The constant battle between you and your thoughts can really make you feel crazy.” The message makes “Conversation” feel like an important anthem for today.
