Toronto artist, Marshall Jacklin recently released his first official single, a reworking of The Wonder Years‘ “Came Out Swinging.” While it is nice if you know the original, in this instance you do not need to know it to enjoy the cover. Jacklin creates a chamber pop version of the track reminiscent of artists like Vampire Weekend or the Arcade Fire. It is a beautiful take on an emo revival standard.
