Want to feel weird about life? Avant pop maker, Matthew Dear who has been a blogosphere darling for the last two decades, kicks off the 2020s by teaming up with Ford Motor company. That’s right. His new single “New Breed” is not remixed by some up and coming DJ, the Mustang Mach-E is a car. In the press release for the song, Ford asks “has any musician ever remixed a car?” and the answer is probably “no.” Dear uses signature sounds found within the car to create the dark, sexy track that is specifically made for driving.
I, at least, hope he got to keep the car in his promo photos.
