Do you miss AM-era Arctic Monkeys? Boy, do Maudlin Strangers have something for you. The Los Angeles based band just released their first single of 2024, “Don’t Worry, I’m Fine” and it features the same type of broody sexiness that made “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?” and “R U Mine?” much loved songs. While its not pure apery as the band does put their own spin on the sound, it is hard not to have flashbacks to 2013 when “Don’t Worry, I’m Fine” is on.
