Oxford, England’s Max Blansjaar is preparing to release his album, False Comforts on June 21st via Beanie Tapes. The latest single from the album is “Burning In Our Name.” The track starts off as a lo-fi acoustic jaunt reminiscent of the Mountain Goats; that lasts for about 50 seconds. Two snare hits ushers in better recording quality and a host of other instruments. It makes for a lush indie pop sound with Blansjaar’s signature quirky lyrics.
