Seattle’s Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band just released their first single since 2022 called “February.” The track has a passive/aggressive style reminiscent of early emo bands like Mineral or American Football. Delicate bouncing guitar arpeggios are broken up by distorted power chord hits all while Benjamin Verdoes’ falsetto vocals lilt over the top.
