A 13-year-old Michael Jackson recorded “Maria” for his first solo album, Got to Be There. The track was never released as a single so the fact that Hype Jones selected it to remix is astonishing. The remix is dubbed a “lovestep” remix which apparently means “softer-than-the-dubstep-high-school-kids-bump.”
