Knoxville rapper, Nicólas Soul just released his new EP, bluu. The album’s opener, “$X$=$$,” features a mid-tempo saxophone-filled beat. While Soul handles the chorus and bridge, fellow Knoxville rapper, RK Bottom Line takes the first verse. With lyrics about his drive to make it, the verse is peppered with similes and metaphors like “I’m a shark during a Noah’s ark/Ya’ll stuck on the boat I’m at home at heart” and “I’m under pressure like Logic in 14’.” A chopped and screwed outro featuring GAMii finishes the track up strong.
