Ryan Poole of Nite Tides sums up his year so far as “it began with a major family trauma, followed by a tornado, followed by COVID 19, followed by weeks of isolation, followed by Carole Baskin. It sucked.” So he did what any reasonable man would do, he bought a classic car, started a band, and moved to San Diego. That band just released their debut single, “Forever Baby.” The song bridges the gap between Belle and Sebastian indie pop and surf rock which means its just as warm and bright as the San Diego sun.
