The 2016 election was coming up and I sensed a coming tidal shift in the world and in my own life.” The result of that shift was “Trash,” an ultimate sad girl anthem. Slow and droning yet catchy and sardonic, the track is immediately engaging with its relatable yet humorous lyrics.
