Los Angeles’ Paper Idol is preparing to release his new EP, Money For Flowers later this spring. The latest single is the titular track. The track adeptly mixes electro-pop and indie rock to create a slick, hook-laden song. Paper Idol said of the song “I wrote ‘Money For Flowers’ at a particularly broke time in my life. I had just visited a girlfriend’s parents and promised that I would send them flowers as a thank-you; I remember thinking, ‘I don’t even have money for flowers.’” He finishes by saying “I did end up buying the flowers, by the way.”
