London band, Parachute Words just released their new single, “I Like It When You Sleep Matty, for You Are Not Making Music yet So Unaware of It / Vellichor.” The track is described as “the most pretentious way to make a diss-track imaginable” about the 1975. If you listen to enough of the 1975, there are lots of little in-jokes in the song like the repeating talking sound clip asking “won’t you give me a try” or saying “they freaking got Greta to just talk on a track.” Despite how tongue-in-cheek the song is, it is actually pretty catchy and a good song on its own.
