Sydney-based producer, Past Mayfair teams up with vocalist Isabella for his new track, “Echo.” With pulsating bass, a finger-snapped beat and lush synths, the track mixes elements of bedroom pop, disco, and deep house. Past Mayfair said “I was inspired by Billie Eilish to include the sound of heavily stacked female vocal harmonies” which you can hear from the very beginning of the song. He also said that the chorus is influenced by Flight Facilities. Despite these influences, “Echo” feels like its own beast that might end up influencing some other young producer someday.
