Birmingham, Alabama’s People Years are preparing to release their new album, Animalism on April 10th via Cornelius Chapel Records. The album’s lead single is “Commonly Known.” With its mixture of jangle pop and indie rock, the song is reminiscent of bands like The Glands or The Shins but lead singer, Chris Rowell’s voice sounds a lot like Conor Deasy from the Thrills so that might be the most apt comparison.
