Pistoleros are celebrating their 25th anniversary as a band with a new album, Silver. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere their new single “NYC Queen.” Despite being from Tempe, the band bring that tri-state rock sound to the new song. You can hear hints of The New York Dolls in the song’s driving beat and chugging palm-muted guitar. The big guitar riffs and arena-sized chorus are befitting of bands like Kiss.
