New York’s Poise (aka Lucie Murphy) teams up longtime friend, Half Waif for the new single, “Marble.” Marking her first foray into pop, Poise creates a syncopated drum landscape for her and Half Waif’s lovely vocals to lilt. The jagged beat and thumping subbass juxtaposes the two singers’ voices nicely. It reminds me of artists like Caroline Polachek or Dirty Projectors.
