Brooklyn quintet Porches. describe their sound as bummer-pop. The label fits judging by their new single, “Headsgiving.” The track is fairly catchy but the concept of the song is basically about someone who commits suicide and then just before death decides they don’t want to die. Seems depressing? It is a bit. The track is the first single from Porches’ debut album, Slow Dance in the Cosmos–out August 27th.
