Beginning with a monster guitar riff, Brisbane-quartet Port Royal knows how to capture your attention. Their new single, “That’s How You Want It To Be” keeps the frenetic energy up with driving drums and a catchy, explosive chorus. It reminds me of the early days of The Wombats or The Mooney Suzuki.
The single is taken from Port Royal’s forthcoming EP Golden Years scheduled for release in 2020.
