Lyric videos used to be lyrics on a screen, similar to what you would get in a karaoke bar. The art of lyric videos have been steadily progressing to the point now where they as a good if not better than many music videos. Basic Vacation‘s lyric video for “I Believe” is the perfect example. The video shows the band performing and various cutting room floor candids all while the lyrics splash on the screen. In the end, “I Believe” is artfully done and we’re pleased to premiere it on Surviving the Golden Age.
