Founded in 2006 by Weezer guitarist Brian Bell and US Bombs’ guitarist Nate Shaw, The Relationship are preparing to release a new single set on Burger Records on April 8th. One of the tracks on the single is “Oh Allen.” It is a bit jarring not to hear River Cuomo’s voice on a track that sounds more Weezer than Weezer has in recent years but Bell helms the band aptly. At its heart an insouciant song, “Oh Allen” is the kind of power pop expected from two longtime LA musicians.
