Irish multi-instrumentalist, Roe just released her new EP, Things We Don’t Talk About. The latest single from the album is “A Quiet Place,” a bedroom pop track with an arena-sized chorus. Beginning with a finger-snapped beat and light synth pads, Roe’s lilting voice sounds pleasant if not a bit innocent. Once the chorus hits that changes. Showing off a powerful range, the chorus incorporates trap drums, piano, and lush synth pads. It makes for an anthemic sounding pop song.
