San Diego based artist, Saint Taint team up with Ireland’s Jack Rua for the new EP, I Don’t Party Enough Anymore which will be released on May 7th. The first single from the album is “Contact.” The track finds the duo trading verses about what they were missing during the self-isolation. “I wrote this song about wanting, needing, craving physical intimacy,” said Jack, who wrote the bulk of the lyrics. “We wanted to capture the feeling of being alone in your bedroom all night and aimlessly scrolling social media and dating apps.” While those feelings of desperation are present in the lyrics, the track is covered in a fun, hyper-pop coating. The juxtaposition between the meaning and the execution of the track is wonderful.
