Benjamin Curtis, the man behind School Of Seven Bells, passed away in December of 2013 after a brief battle with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. Before his death, he recorded a cover of “I Got Knocked Down (But I’ll Get Up)” which coincidentally written while Joey Ramone was dying of lymphoma. The cover is all to apt starting with the lyrics “laying in a hospital bed.” “I Got Knocked Down” turns into a gorgeous track filled with warm synths, danceable drums, and the vocals of Alejandra Deheza.
