Danish producer, Trentemøller doesn’t remix but reworks School of X‘ “Write My Name.” Rasmus Littauer’s vocal cut through a melancholic synth arpeggio like a hot knife through butter. The hypnotic synth progression is accompanied by sparse drums until a snaky lead synth melody is laid on top of it. The track seems to be getting darker before suddenly the arpeggio changes just enough to become a major key. Symphonic string stabs are added to take the song home.
