Norway’s Secret Treehouse released their debut album, The Big Rewind today. The album’s focus track, “Sinking” shows the band at their most dynamic. Cold, sparsely instrumented verses break for a catchy chorus with lush synths and reverbed guitars. The band said “the song is about drowning in someone else’s strong emotions/feelings” which I think we can all relate to. But could we all make that feeling so catchy? It seems doubtful.
