Boston-based band, Sinnet are preparing to release their new album, Island Town next year. The lead single from the album is the titular track. Not as “island” sounding as one might expect, tt is dad rock in the sense that it is rock music about becoming a father. Singer/songwriter Aaron Spransy said the song is about the experience of buying a house, starting a family and moving to Medford, MA. Featuring jaunty drums, vintage organs, and strategically placed guitar stabs, the track is a bit more fun that your normal dad-rock affair.
