Newcastle, Australia’s Slow Cinema recently released their self-titled EP. The opening track, “Pouring Rain,” is a tour-de-force of the band’s sound. Indie, classic rock, and blues influences combine to create a song that sounds somewhere between Arctic Monkeys and the Black Keys with ferocious lead guitar and pounding drums.
