Bombay, India born, Los Angeles-based Kabir Kumar (aka Sun Kin) just released his new single, “Just Double Checking.” Written with his partner, Nicole, the song is a self-aware anthem about how anxieties can be taxing on a relationship. In the first verse, Kabir sings about getting up in the middle of the night to make sure the door is locked while Nicole sings in the second verse about being distracted by her own thoughts and missing out on romantic things that Kabir says. It is an incredibly sweet song that reminds us that we all have quirks and idiosyncrasies, we just have to find someone who will put up with them.
