“Low” by Trace was one of my favourite singles of the year and I was absolutely thrilled to hear that there would be a remix contest for the single. Funny enough, the best remix I’ve heard of the single so far isn’t even one of the contest submissions but rather an independently released remix by producer Thoreau who blends in a lot of instrumental goodness. From soft piano keys to rocking electric guitar and gentle drum kicks, Thoreau’s instrumental selection is absolutely on point and he definitely gives Trace the remix that she deserves.
