Los Angeles band, The Tracks just released their new album, Paredón Blanco. The latest single from the album is “Shut Your Mouth.” The track’s mix of rockabilly, garage rock, and post-punk influences is reminiscent of bands like Dead Kennedys or Division of Laura Lee. Over driving guitar and surf inspired drums, lead singer Venancio Bermudez’ trembling croon recalls 50s legends like Elvis or Carl Perkins. It’s a fun mix of new and old influences with plenty of frantic energy behind it.
