Norwegian quartet, TwoMinutesHate just released their single, “1312.” With blazing lead guitar and female vocals, the punk band is comparable to Tsunami Bomb or the Soviettes. The interesting part is the lyrics. The song is about the murder of George Floyd which isn’t new fodder for songs or punk music in general but the band isn’t from America which makes it unique. Coming from Oslo, Norway and hearing the impact that the murder and surrounding protests had in other countries is fascinating. It just shows the value in protest and speaking out against injustice.
