Chicago’s V.V. Lightbody (aka a.k.a. Vivian McConnell) is preparing to release her new album, Make A Shrine Or Burn It on May 1st. The second single from the album is “Horse on Fire.” Described as “a post-split warning simmering with sensuality,” the track is filled with popping drums and plenty of brass. It ends up sounding like an indie rock version of Chicago with some shades of Steely Dan.
