Oakland-based artist, Yachtclub101 is preparing to release his new self-titled album on November 13th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the single, “This Too Will Pass.”
While the band name might have you think that Yachtclub101 is making yacht rock, he is not. Beginning with droning synths and vocals, the song gets going with a driving drumbeat before fuzzed out bass joins the mix for the first chorus. Some sharp guitar stabs enter for the second verse filling “This Too Will Pass” out to Yachtclub101’s full sound.
