London rapper, Abby Power just dropped her new single, “No Gimmicks Cypher.” She explains “The ‘No Gimmicks Cypher’ is something I wanted to put together to thank people for their support for the EP I dropped in February, Class of ’94.” In true ’94 fashion, the track is a posse cut delivering expert lyricism over a raw hip hop beat produced by Frances, The Mute. Power’s sharp tongue kicks off the track but then each following rapper brings their own style to the beat. L Martin‘s baritone and laid back flow immediately gives a counter point to Power while Britizen Kane follows with an in-your-face style. UK battle rap legend, Tony D closes out the track balancing sharp lyrics with a calmer flow. Although the track does not feature a chorus, there is more than enough lyrical clout to keep a listeners attention.
