No Middle Name is the solo project of London-based David Bailey from The Title Sequence. His latest single is “Meet the Folks Part 1,” a story of a girl who brings her boyfriend home to meet her parents. They disapprove, causing the young couple to make plans to run away. Told from the lovers’ perspective, the song is an upbeat girl/boy duet that sounds somewhere between Belle and Sebastian and Peter Bjorn & John‘s breakout hit “Young Folks.”
