The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are preparing to release their new LP, Days of Abandon on April 22nd. The album’s lead single is “Simple and Sure.” The track shows the New York five piece in a slightly different light. Instead of their normal fuzzy shoegaze, “Simple and Sure” has a bit more of an 80s twist to it, almost reminiscent of Culture Club.
