Australian five-piece, Picket Palace just dropped their new single, “All About The Money.” The track sounds somewhere between Parquet Courts and Boris the Sprinkler with its tongue-in-cheek lyrics, shouted vocals, and noisy guitars. Lead singer, Seamus O’Connell describes the lyrics as “people were calling us ‘sell outs’ on social media…like, dude I’d love to sell out, rent’s fucked where I live, I’ll write you whatever song you want for a new oven.” I’d hold out for a new laptop but O’Connell’s point is well taken.
