Birmingham, Alabama’s Qualifier recently released All You Get. The EP’s opening track, “I’m Moving to St. Pete and Giving Up” shows the band at its most urgent. Mixing emotional vocal delivery with driving punk music, the song is reminiscent of artists like Lifetime or Hot Water Music. The song was inspired by a real life experience. The band explains “this song is about a guy sitting next to us at the bar after a show at 3 am, in St. Pete, FL. He was very sad and drunk and having a conversation with himself.”
